Student Life
 Castello garden
This summer the master class week at Montisi begins on Tuesday evening with a group 'welcome dinner' in the Castello garden (19:00) for orientation and to allow participants to meet the Piccola Accademia staff and each other. The rhythm of each week will be set by the individual master class teachers, but generally classes will take place in the morning (9:30 to 13:00, and in the afternoon 16:00-19:00, the evenings are available for practice and socialising. The master class week ends Sunday evening with a public student concert (18:00), and finishing with a farewell dinner at the Castello.

Lunch at the Castello garden
Montisi is a compact and easy to manage environment once you've arrived. Within the village there are two restaurants, da Roberto's Taverna in Montisi (www.tavernamontisi.com) and La Romita (www.laromita.net), a cafe for lunches and a bar for morning coffee and drinks, with other choices available in neighbouring villages. There is a small 'alimentari' (food shop), a post office and a bank with cash machine all within metres of the Piccola Accademia's home, the Castello di Montisi. The Piccola Accademia also has a chef who will make lunches and dinners available every day in the gardens of the school's "Castello" at a very reasonable cost.
Student Accommodation
To provide a choice of affordable student housing, Piccola Accademia has negotiated special student rates for a number of rooms within Montisi. Students should book directly with their chosen hotel or room after class registration is confirmed.
