Piccola Accademia at the Villa Medici in Rome


Master Class : Skip Sempé & Pierre Hantaï


28 – 31 October 2013 the Piccola Accademia di Montisi will offer a special 4 day Master Class in Rome, in co-production with the Villa Medici / Académie de France a Rome and Capriccio Stravagante.

The course is free of tuition fees to eligible students. However a non-refundable €100 registration fee is required for the course.

To qualify, students must be presently enrolled in a university level music study or be recently graduated.

Master Class information

The Master Classes at the Villa Medici / Académie de France a Rome will begin on 28 October at 10.00 and end on 31 October at 19.00.

The Master Classes will take place daily from 10.00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 19.00. Skip Sempe and Pierre Hantaï will each teach one session per day.

The Master Class will be limited to 6 students.

The Master Classes will be given on:

Repertoire – Open program, with an accent on repertoire from 1650 – 1750.

Accommodation and travel

Student accommodation for the entire session will be provided at the Villa Medici / Académie de France a Rome at a special rate of 75 Euros per person. You can pay the Villa Medici  / Académie de France a Rome on arrival. The accommodation is based on double occupancy (2 students per room, with shared bathroom) for 5 nights (27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 October).
