The Piccola Accademia di Montisi is continuing the extension of their activities to France, with a special 1 day Master Class in Paris, in co-production with and Institut d’études avancées de Paris and Christophe Rousset.
To qualify as participants, students must be presently enrolled in university / conservatory level music studies or be recent graduates.
The Master Classes are free of tuition fees to eligible participants. A non-refundable € 25 registration fee is required.
Master Class information
Repertoire: ‘Paris Baroque’: French repertoire 1650 – 1750, particularly Francois Couperin.
The Master Class will be limited to 8 harpsichordists.
The schedule for the Master Class is 10.30 – 13.00 and 14:00 – 17.00.
The application deadline for participants is 1 April 2018.
The Master Class is also open to auditors free of charge. Auditors must register before 1 April, and will be accepted in order of request.
The Master Class will be given on a double manual harpsichord after 18th century French models by Bruce Kennedy.
The location is the Hôtel de Lauzun / Institut d’études avancées de Paris, 17 Quai d’Anjou, 75004 Paris, Métro Pont Mairie.

After receiving a response of acceptance from the Piccola Accademia, please confirm your attendance to the master class by paying the registration fee through the Piccola Accademia paypal account within three weeks. The Master Classes are free of tuition fees to eligible participants. A non-refundable € 25 registration fee is required.
We will hold your place in the class for three weeks and will confirm your place as soon as the registration fee has arrived. If you have problems either with the paypal system or with the payment itself, please contact us immediately (Stanislav.Gres@gmail.com) so that we can organise other arrangements with you. Please remember that your acceptance is final only after receiving a confirmation from the Piccola Accademia administration!
